An example of a bridge made of strawsIn science, our teacher has started teaching us Bridge Designs. So to make the concept clear, he gave us an project to start with the topic. We have experience making straw bridge as we did this last year in Technology with Mr. Phil. Our objective was to make a bridge out of 50 straws & 200 straws and it should be 20 cm long. So he gave us some materials in order to make the bridge:
- 250 straws
- Tape
- Scissor
- Ruler
Kevin, Carla and I are working very well to make a decent, strong bridge. We have referred to the science book where it explains different kinds of bridge and studied the designs which one is stronger. Till date, we have finished making the 50 straw bridge and we have tested it with some weight. Now we are going to start making the 200 straws bridge and we hope it is stronger than other peoples bridges.
